Maxine Johnson Powers, 82, of Chesterfield County, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017.
Survivors include her sons, Earl DeWitt Powers of North Chesterfield and Leon Powers (Tammy) of Prince George; her two daughters, Abbey Fly (Jamie) of Prince George and Gwen Bibb of Jetersville; ten grandchildren; and her sisters, Ruby, Carolyn, and Faye. Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her husband, Earl K. Powers and her sons, Michael Earl Powers, Jeffrey Todd Powers, and Billy Anderson.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 1 at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at Lacy Funeral Home.

Maxine you will be missed! Paw Paw will be so glad to see you again!! I will miss you sense of humor, you always laughed no matter how bad things were at times. So glad to get these last few years with you at my home. RIP Grandma.

Maxine was the greatest person i have ever known! I loved her very much She was more than my mother in law she was my friend! She will be missed
