Scherry and I were talking about our memories of your dad. Both of us have our most vivid memories of him in the fields plowing. One day we went over to see him in the fields. I saw some horse hair on the stirrups used for the plow. He took that off and gave it to me. He told me that if I planted it, it would turn to worms. Being from the city, but country at heart, I believed him and planted the horse hair.Scherry remembers him dealing with a cantankerous horse one day.My dad told us many times that when Alice was ready to go to the hospital to bring both of you into this world, he got them there. We will always cherish their memory.
