Andrew Primo Parrish, 77, of Sandy Hook, passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2011.Mr.Parrish was a retired grounds supervisor for the Virginia Correctional Center for Women in Goochland, and a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Alan Parrish; his parents, Eddie Clay and Irene Parrish; and siblings, Dewey, Mac, and Clifton Siddons, and Gene Clay and Ruby Gene Parrish. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hazel Gammon Parrish; his son Andrew Wayne Parrish Lynn; his daughter Ann Jessee Jeff; grandchildren Erika, Ashley, Dallas Ann, Megan, Andrew and his fiancée Jessica, and Alicia; and sisters, Nelda Parrish, Elinor Byrd Dowdy Shirley, and Shirley Burton Linwood. He was a lifetime member of Ragland Memorial Baptist Church in Sandy Hook, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, with interment in the church cemetery.
