My mom, she taught me that no matter what comes your way you can always get up and keep going. Her strength to keep going and push forward was like no other. She raised four children when most of us are expecting grandchildren. She got that strength from the Lord. She does not have to be strong anymore, she has fought the good fight and now she has realized her reward. She loved to laugh and she laughed a lot. She lead us a merry chase, and we spoiled her rotten the last fifteen years; I am so very glad we did.
Strength and Love are what comes to mind when I think of Mrs Swink aka Mama Swink as Patsy and I loving called her. She was a beautiful example of Christian Love. It was always a joy to see her. I remember when we would meet her and Mr Swink at the Richmond Tech Center to drop off Dot from college she always had a big smile on her face. We will miss her but we are comforted to know she is at rest and enjoying her Heavenly reward. Love to the family and prayers for comfort in the days ahead. Cry, Laugh, and enjoy your precious memories. Your Friends Mary and Patsy Briggs
