I offer my deepest sympathy to Barbara’s family. She was a lovely lady. Barbara was a dear friend of mine all through high school. We reconnected at a high school reunion, and continued our friendship for many years thereafter. I shall always cherish her friendship.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Lacy’s passing. She was my first grade teacher at Jouett Elementary School for the 1985-1986 school year. Mrs. Lacy was a great teacher who made learning enjoyable each day. I still recall her allowing me to stay in her classroom after school and play with her building blocks until my mother (who is also a school employee) was ready to go home. Halloween trick-or-treating at her house was also fun. I will always cherish these memories as well as many other memories that I have.
