Earl Davis

October 4, 1940 – February 9, 2024

Earl Davis, 83, of Mechanicsville VA, left us unexpectedly on Friday, February 9, 2024, to go home to be with his family.

Earl retired from CSX Railroad after 40 years of loyal service.

Earl is survived by his wife of 30 years, Doris; his daughter, Amy ( Buddy); his step-daughters, Brenda (Gary), Darlene, Dale, and Joy; his grandchildren, Stephen, Angel, Zinnie (Taylor), Gaby; his four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Earl is proceeded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mildred; his brother and three sisters;  and his stepson, Marc.

He will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30pm on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Lacy Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:30pm. Interment will take place immediately after the service at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
