Ethel L. Turbeville

March 2, 1938 – March 24, 2023

Ethel L. Turbeville, 85, of Bumpass VA gained her wings on March 24, 2023. She was born March 2, 1938, and was raised as a coal miners’ daughter in Norton Va.

She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Turbeville, three sons; Roger, J.P. and Andrew Collins and one granddaughter Krysten Collins.

She is survived by five children; Janie Kelly, Robert Collins, Marty Baker, Earl Collins and David Collins, and two siblings, Betty Haynes and Roy Barlow. She is also survived by two grandchildren she raised Marie Collins and Shelby Dalton.

She was a wonderful, loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She had fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She loved reading her bible at bedtime as well as fishing, camping, putting jigsaw puzzles together and doing word searches. She will be greatly missed by other family and friends.

She will be laid to rest between her husband and son on Wednesday March 29, 2023, at 2pm in Spring Grove Cemetery, Mineral Va.
