Holly Jo Boswell
December 6, 1977 – August 21, 2023
Holly Jo Boswell, 45, of Louisa County died Monday, August 21, 2023.
Holly was a Licensed Practical Nurse from 2000 to 2006 until she realized her greater gift, which was helping those with substance abuse. Her late mother, Kathleen Ann Cuff Bennett, also worked as an LPN and was her inspiration to go into nursing and help others overall. Holly did not only help those with substance abuse issues she also helped so many with different mental health disorders and contributed so much more than she will ever know. She was a tremendous woman who inspired many people. It never mattered if it was after hours, if her phone rang she was there for those in need, while still managing to take care of her family. It is our hope as a family that this is how she will always be remembered.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Boswell; her children, Layne South, Chandler South (Adam), and Abbie Houston; sister, Theresa Bennett Fulmer; brother Brian Cuff; and numerous other family members.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24 at Lacy Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25 at Hopeful Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Holly was a wonderful person. We all used to have such good time in Girl Scouts. She will be missed greatly. Abbie we love you, and to the entire family our deepest sympathy and prayers.
Holly was such a caring person beyond her own cares to help others a rare and dying breed in the world we live in today
We are so very sorry for your loss- sending love and prayers
Holly is and continues to be my soul sister. We have always had a special connection. I miss her touch; but, I know she is always with me and her family. God has her in the palm of his hand and she is a new light for us all. Her love for the disadvantaged of our community was endless and she will be missed. Holly and I prayed before her passing for her soul and for the care of her family if God chose to take her from us. I only hope I can live as loving a life as she did. Yes, no human is perfect. But, we do the best we can. She loved Eddie with all her heart and he returned that love. The pain of her loss will diminish with time. Her memory will always be with me. To Abbi, Layne and Chandler, there are no words I can say to ease your pain other than I am here for you. To Eddie, you gave Holly something she never understood and that is unconditional love. Thank you for the gift you gave to her.
Holly was such an amazing, and caring person. I thank you so much for being a second mom too me, and offering me a place too stay whenever I needed it. Rip beautiful. You will and are missed dearly.
I only got to know Holly over the past few months but feel like I had known her for much longer. She was such a kind and caring soul and was always there to listen. I connected with her right away. She will be greatly missed. Holly will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, loving person. She did more for me in a short time than I think she ever knew. My prayers are with her family.

Holly was a bright light. She was kind, witty, compassionate, empathetic, courageous, strong and beautiful. She was beautiful for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved, especially her family. She was beautiful in the way she made others smile. She was beautiful deep down to her soul. My life is better because I knew Holly. Prayers for her family and friends.
