Jacqueline Mallory Wash

September 02, 1927 – July 03, 2022

Jacqueline Mallory Wash, 94, of Chesterfield, Va., went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was born and raised in Mineral, Va., and graduated from Louisa High School. She was a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She retired from Phillip Morris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wash, Sr.; son, William Wash, Jr.; daughter, Carolyn Wash. She is survived by her sons, James Wash (Kathy) and Stephen Wash; daughters, Patricia Wash and Cynthia Creed (Chris); 7 grandchildren, Temple, Laura, Jennifer, Michael, Kyle, Cory and Jacob; 5 great-grandchildren, Aundreya, Billy, Christopher, Sallie Anne and Blair; sister, Dottie Mae Sharpe.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 8 at Lacy Funeral Home, 6241 Cross County Road, Mineral, Va., 23117, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

    What a lovely lady that endured much loss and held her head and heart high. May you Rest In Peace surrounded by the ones left behind and rejoice in the afterlife with those that went before you.
