John “Johnny”  Edward Dewsbury

June 23, 1954 – January 28, 2024

John “Johnny”  Edward Dewsbury left this world on January 28, 2024 at the age of 69.  He was preceded in death by his sweet daughter Ashley. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Heather; stepchildren, Joshua (Robin), Jordan (Jacob); grandchildren, Amber (Josh), Rowlin, Max and Maggie, Averie, Austin, Adam; great-granddaughter, Willow; and longtime friend, Dale Wilburn.

Johnny was a good steward to God and everyone he met. He loved his backhoe and beer. He loved music and animals. He never met a squirrel he didn’t like. Strays were always welcome at Johnny’s house, whether they walked on four legs or two. He is sorely missed.  A celebration of his life will be held at 530 Octagon Church Rd., Bumpass, VA 23024, from 2 to 4pm on June 23, 2024, which would have been his 70th birthday.
