John Raymond Leach
December 19, 1968 – December 18, 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of John Raymond Leach (54) of Richmond, Virginia. He passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023, after being placed in hospice care at Johnston Willis hospital.
John (Ray) was raised in Hanover County where he graduated from Patrick Henry High School. Ray was an employee of AWP Safety and he absolutely loved his job and the people that he worked with there. He loved animals, Ford trucks, and was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Flynn Gallahan; his grandparents, Rufus E. Flynn and Eleanor R. Flynn; and an uncle, John R. Flynn. Ray will be missed, but we rest in the knowledge that he is at peace and that we will see him again one day, for he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am so very sorry to hear about Ray’s passing. I always liked Ray and found him to have a kind heart. I will be praying for his family.
