Joseph John Baysura

Joseph John Baysura, of Mineral, Virginia, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024. Joseph (also lovingly called Jay or Joe) grew up in Pennsylvania and was widely known as a proud “Yinzer” and Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan. Joe was an avid golfer, lover of the ocean, and was widely known for wearing his Hawaiian shirts to any event he could. Joseph proudly served in the Navy for four years before receiving an honorable discharge and went to school for IT, a field he continued to work in for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Baysura and mother, Pearl Baysura. He is survived by his two children whom he was dearly devoted to and proud of, Anna Chandler (Jason) and Andrew Baysura; his two sisters, Linda Mueller (Doc), Kim Leroy (Bryan); and one brother, Andrew Baysura. He is also survived by his beloved nieces, Renee, Danyale, and Rebecca; along with many grand-nephews.
