Wayne is among a number of old fellow Spring Hillians that made my childhood a dream come true. He embodied everything that made our little town a piece of heaven.

I did not know Wayne, but my contacts years ago with his father Kenneth of Columbia, TN were good. In ways consistent with our relationship –he was a sales rep. for Malone and Hide wholesale grocer while I was employee of Hampshire Cash Grocery– I counted Kenneth D. as a personal friend and a good man.
