Lewis William Tiller, Jr

August 15, 1951 – December 30, 2021

Lewis William Tiller, Jr., age 70, of Holly Grove, died Thursday December 30, 2021 at Henrico Doctors Hospital, with his wife at his side. He was born August 15, 1951.  He spent time in the Army Reserve, with honorable discharge.  He is preceded in death by his father Lewis William Tiller, Sr.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Pannell Tiller, along with his mother, Margaret Kersey Tiller, his daughters, Jennifer Tiller (Michael Corvino) and Ashley Tiller Tarry (Joe), his grandchildren Joe Thomas Tarry III and Olivia Tarry, his sister Molly Tiller Seay (Donnie) and many nieces and nephews.  Lewis was an avid huntsman and fisherman and enjoyed time with friends and family.  Those who knew him well, remember him fondly as Buggs or Junie Buggs.  Funeral services were held Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Hopeful Baptist Church, in Monpelier, conducted by Deacon Daniel Byers and Deacon Charles Waldrop. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

    I was sorry to hear about Bugg’s passing. Thinking of the entire family and praying for God to take you in his arms and look after each and everyone of you. He will really be missed in the Holly Grove area.
