Margaret Foster Clements, of Gum Spring, Virginia went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marvin Clements.
She is survived by her children; Wayne Clements, Edith Hall (Al), Lawrence Clements (Deborah), John Clements (Susan), David Clements and Ellen Clements, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her brother, Henry Foster (Kay) and several nieces and nephews.
She was devoted to taking care of her family, enjoyed attending church regularly and worshiping with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, reading and music and was particularly a fan of old time country and gospel music. Margaret was known for her gentle and kind spirit and love for all of God’s creation. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm on Tuesday, November 14th at Lacy Funeral Home, RT. 522 Mineral, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 15th at Gum Spring United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
