Mary Lou Perry 67 of Bumpass, VA passed away on December 15, 2018 at home after a long battle with cancer.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna (Ladybug) Sperisen and brother Stuart (Bubba) Polston both of Richmond, VA.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Alfred Gordon Perry; daughter Tammie Lynn Perry-Tilman and husband Rodney of Fluvanna VA; two grandsons Zackary Tilman and Nicholas Tilman, one gifted great grandbaby, Cole king; one brother Marvin Polston; two sisters Janice Polston and Jean Smith all of Richmond. VA, and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mary Lou worked for Ukrops for 27 years. She loved bowling, bingo, watching survivor and playing her lotto. The family would like to thank Dixie and Brittney from Medi Hospice for taking such sweet care of her.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Lacy Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Spring Grove Memorial Cemetery.

To Mary Lou’s family and friends, I extend my condolences. I know this loss has no doubt been difficult for you all. We have such a wonderful hope for the future that has been promised to us. At Revelation 21:4 it says, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This is truly a beautiful future we have to look forward to here on the earth. I hope this brings you some encouragement during this time.
