Jesse and Family, My prayers and thoughts very sorry. I met Ralph at VCU basketball. I also enjoyed his musical taste. God rest him and many prayers for your family.

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your loved one. When we lose a loved one in death we get lost in the emotions we feel. May the practical and loving concern from family and friends help to comfort you during this difficult time. It is comforting to know that God is aware of your pain and he promises to comfort those who mourn. One way he does that is by the hope he gives for those who have fallen asleep in death. He states this trustworthy promise at Isaiah 26:19 that “those powerless in death will come to life.” All is not lost, there is life after death. Also the Bible elegantly and simply states that “the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). We take courage that our loved one will be resurrected to a peaceful Paradise that Jesus spoke of when those living will welcome back our loved ones. A beautiful future with a hope. May these scriptures in some small way bring you a measure of comfort as the days go by.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ralph’s family and friends. Ralph worked on many of our projects and will be sorely missed. He was a wonderful craftsman and even a better person!
