Richard “Boots” Henry Cox Jr.

May 4, 1987 – May 23, 2022

Richard “Boots” Henry Cox, Jr., 35, of Bumpass VA, passed away Monday May 23, 2022, in Charlottesville Va. He loved to fish, hunt, and play video games.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Clarence L Cox Sr; grandmother, Rebecca Mae Pritchett Cox and maternal grandfather Michael Durrett; and cousin Ronald Ford Jr.

He is survived by his parents Richard Cox Sr. and Carolyn Cox; his partner in life Christa Lam; his children, Triston Cox, Jaydon Cox, and Kaitlyn Cox; his Siblings Rebecca Billings (Andy), Tabatha Cox, and Michael Cox; nephews, Michael, Andrew and William and niece, Julia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held Sunday May 29, 2022, from 6pm to 8pm at Lacy Funeral Home. Funeral Service Will be held 11am Monday May 30, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cox Family Cemetery.
