Ronnie Carroll Gentry Sr.
September 18, 1957 – February 28, 2025
Ronnie Gentry Sr., known as Bones to all that knew him from Mineral, VA passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Gentry; his daughter Teresa Eaglin and her husband, David Eaglin; his son, Ronnie Gentry Jr.; sisters, Marian Powell, Tammy Blevins, and Nada Campbell; his brother, Rodney Gentry. Ronnie had two grandchildren, Chasity Phelan and Katelynn McCann and her husband, Wade McCann; and two great grandchildren, River Phelan and Thomas Phelan. He was preceded by his parents, Ephram Gentry Jr and Eva Gentry; three brothers, Jimmy Gentry, Danny Ray Gentry and Roger Gentry; and a sister, Grace Clark.
The family will receive friends for a viewing from 5 to 6 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow at 6 pm. Interment will be private.
I will miss my beloved husband and we will see each other again one day

You will be missed. Your stubborn soul but soft heart will forever leave a mark in my heart. Hope you find a lot of treasures in the earth and fish in the sea while you are in this giant resting place. May God bless your soul and keep you safe in your journey with Him.

so many memories of us guys young & wild..we all grew up to have beautiful families..u will be missed but the Lord will have his hands full with all u cousins up in heaven..save me a seat..prayers for the family..
I’m truly glad I had the pleasure to meet an amazing soul.The memories we have of Bones and Wayne hunting and shooting and all of the laughs we all shared. You will be missed. We will continue to keep the family in our thoughts and prayers. Rest easy old man we love you.
