Sandra Kay Johnson
August 7, 1960 – April 28, 2025
Sandra Kay Johnson, lovingly known as Kay, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 64.
Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life: watching Braves baseball, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. Her warmth, strength, and sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Johnson; her father, James Grimm; and her mother, Ethelyn Grimm.
Kay is survived by her children, Raynor Johnson (Carrie) and Kelly-Rae Harlow (Doug); her siblings, Sharon Wilson (Bill), Teresa Lowe (Donnie), and Ronald Grimm; her cherished grandchildren, Wade, Layla, and Clyde Johnson, and Penelope Ann and Raegan Harlow; her best friend of 60 years, Tricia Hicks; and many other loving family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Kay.
We take comfort in knowing that Kay and Raymond are dancing together once again, wherever they are now.
