Sharon Whiteside Kincaid

May 8, 1958 – march 3, 2023

Sharon Whiteside Kincaid, 64, of Rockville went to be with the Lord on March 2nd after her five year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie Dale Kincaid, her mother, Jacquelyn Barnum Cosby, children, April (Matthew) Satterwhite, JT Stafford, Sandi Blair, Derek (Courtney) Blair, and Sarah Blair, her stepson, Cary (Kelly) Kincaid, sister Susan Stafford and many beloved grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her father, David Ryland Whiteside.

Sharon dedicated many years working for the International Mission Board and Ukrop’s prior. She was an active member of Oakland Baptist Church where she was the President of the WMU, served on a variety of committees and lifted her voice in praise in the church choir and the Virginia Baptist Women’s Chorale. Her strong and faithful walk with Christ was her foundation.

All services will be held at Oakland Baptist Church (2965 Oakland Church Road, Gum Spring, VA 23065) with family visitation on Friday, March 10th from 6-8pm and funeral services held on Saturday, March 11th at 10am. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakland Baptist Church WMU.
