Stuart R. Fortune, Sr. of Bumpass, Virginia died on Saturday, October 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Sims Fortune.
He is survived by his son, Stuart R. Fortune, Jr. (Peggy); his daughter, Janice F. Smith (Ronald); his grandchildren, Stuart, Laura and Chris; his great-grandchildren, Sarah, Wyatt, Colton, Keeley and Leah, and his sister, Carrie Henshaw.
His remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home Rt. 522, Mineral, Virginia; where his family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm on Wednesday, October 25th. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 26th in Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa, Virginia
