LLOYDWarren A. Lloyd, 79, (lovingly known as Pop” ) of Bumpass went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 22 2014. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Dorothy Willis Lloyd; his children Deborah Murphy (Tommy) Denise Brooking (Mark) and Dwayne Lloyd (Connie); grandchildren Donnie Amick Stephanie and Katherine Murphy Amanda and Noel Brooking Sarah Perkinson Harper and Elizabeth Lloyd; great-grandchildren Bridgett Amick and Chase Luck. He was oldest of 10 children and is survived by his brother Randy Lloyd; and sisters: Alice Plageman Brenda Marks Rebecca Hicks and Nancy Smith. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jennifer.He was retired from Phillip Morris and trained and showed Tennessee Walking Horses for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting fishing and gardening. He was a loving husband father grandfather brother and friend and will be forever remembered for his positive and kind spirit loving heart and sense of humor.His remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home in Mineral VA where family will receive friends from 1p-3p and 6p-8p Saturday January 25th. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday January 26th at Hopeful Baptist Church Montpelier VA with Interment in church cemetery.In lieu of flowers please consider making donations in his memory to Holly Grove Volunteer Rescue Squad 155 Factory Mill Road Bumpass VA 23024 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105-1942

Pop,Thanks for making me a part of the family and giving me your daughter Denise, Thank you for taking time with Noel fishing and hunting and making the person he is, You will always live in Amanda and Noel along with Nanny and Papa B.I Love and will miss you,Brooking.

We cherish the time spent with him, showing walking horses he trained, hunting quail with pointer and setter dogs, fishing and the cruises we enjoyed with you and Warren.
