William Jerry Parrish

January 8, 1953 – January 15, 2022

Parrish, William, Jerry, 69 of Bumpass suddenly left earth on Saturday, January 15, 2022. He was an awesome, loving, kind and devoted father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. A hardworking man, he worked at Phillip Morris for 32 years then went to Walmart for 13 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother and two brothers, Herman and Brad.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Nikki; Grandkids Kiana and Camryn; and great grandkids KayAloni and Jr; two sisters, Dottie and Kay; one brother, Robert; and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Thursday January 27, 2022 at Holly Grove Christian Church, 1637 Holly Grove dr. Bumpass, Va 23024. A graveside visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Remains rest at Lacy Funeral Home, 6241 Cross County Rd Mineral, Va 23117 on Wednesday January 26, 2022 form 1-3pm.

    I am so saddened to hear of my dear friend and co- worker Jerry is gone.Jerry I know you’re in a better place.Up there gardening growing those good old tomatoes. We worked together for many years in lawn n garden. It’s my prayer that well meet again one day in heaven and do some more gardening.       Harry and I knew Jerry through my dear cousin Penny; what a nice & happy go lucky man.They were devoted to one another for many years. May the entire family find peace knowing he won’t

    I remember him from Philip Morris and I worked with his brother Robert(Porter)on the clean up crew. He was a nice guy and I hunted with them once
