Zachary Thomas Ross Kain of Bumpass, Virginia went to be with his Lord on the 8th day of October 2019, at the age of 22.

Zachary was born on December 12, 1996 in Richmond Virginia.  Zachary loved the Lord and was a member of Fork Baptist Church, Bumpass, Virginia.   He had an adventurous spirit.  He loved to storm-chase and enjoyed traveling.  Zach loved his siblings and enjoyed spending time with them.  He could often be found playing video games with his brother, Abel, or taking his sisters on random road trips.  He also loved his Dad and they enjoyed hunting together.

Zachary was a “Momma’s boy,” and loved her very much as she loved him.  They looked forward to starting each day drinking coffee together and enjoying each other’s company.  He was a wonderful son and always felt a responsibility for taking care of his family.

Zachary worked for Pop-A-Lock where he loved being a locksmith.  He truly enjoyed the friends he’d made at work.

Zachary is survived by his mother Anne Kain Leonard of Bumpass, Virginia; his father, Jason Leonard, of Dinwiddie, Virginia; three sisters, Camden M. Leonard, Hailee M. Leonard, and Faith A. Leonard and a brother, David “Abel” Leonard, all of Bumpass, Virginia: his step-brother, James R. Leonard of Dinwiddie, Virginia; maternal grandparents Thomas E. Kain and Rhonda L. Kain of Chesterfield Virginia; paternal grandparents, David M. Leonard and Gail C. Leonard of Dinwiddie Virginia; and a whole host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 1pm at Fork Baptist Church.

My big brother is such a handsome angel 😇 wish you could have heard the news in time that he was going to be an uncle for the first time. My daughter will grow up to know stories of her mommy’s big brother ❤️
