Alma Mae Walker, 101, a lifelong resident of Bumpass, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents, Mann and Maude Pate; her husband, Percy Lee Walker; and three children, James, William, and Gracie.
Survivors include sons Percy Walker Jr. (Jane) and Michael Walker, both of Bumpass; daughters Betty Huckstep, Patsy Sims (Cutler), Sheila Bowes, all of Bumpass, Virginia Cole (Johnny) of Chesterfield, and Barbara Gabbert of Georgia; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 6 at the Pate Family Cemetery.
