David Wayne Dunivan

David Dunivan age 61 went peacefully to be with the Lord on October16, 2016 with his wife Darlene and family at his side.
David is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Blanche Dunivan, and his only son, Timothy Wayne Dunivan.
David leaves behind his very devoted and loving wife of 30 years; Darlene Faye Askew Dunivan, his sister, Sandy Shifflet, his brothers, Richard Dunivan (Nancy) and Clarence “Butch” Dunivan, various nieces and nephews along with his very special dog, Spike. David will be greatly missed by his family and friends; but they take comfort in knowing he is at rest at home with the Lord.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm on Wednesday, October 19th at Lacy Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 20th at Emmanuel Holiness Church, officiated by Pastor, Terry Gilbert. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Mineral, VA
Darlene, David was a very special brother in law and friend to us both. His warm sweet smile everytime we saw him was a true blessing. We both thank the Lord for the time we had with him. He will be greatly missed and we know that YOU will be alright. Love you girl and God Bless.
