Ruby Hicks Gentry, 95, of Maidens, Va passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015. Survivors include her husband, Ephiram Gentry; daughter Elsie Letterman; grandchildren Donna Goodman Sadler, Robert Stanley, Joseph Pierotti and Stacy Pierotti (Jennifer); eight great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28 at Oakland Baptist Church.A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29 at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
