Donald Burnelle Lacy, 83 of Bumpass, Virginia passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015.Donald was the son of the late George Burnelle and Kathryn Clarke Lacy and is also predeceased by his son, Michael Lacy. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore Lacy; two daughters, Elizabeth LeSauvage (George), Patricia Jorgensen(William, Jr.), a son, George Lacy; four grandchildren, Cameron Lacy, Lara Anderson (William, Jr.), William Jorgensen, III (Lindsay) and Patrick Jorgensen, and two great-grandchildren, Julianna Anderson and William Anderson, III and a special uncle, Cabell Bryant Clarke.A Memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, November, 23rd at Hopeful Baptist Church; the family will receive friends following the service.
We will miss you, Uncle Donnie! Kevin always speaks of you with such love! Love and hugs to Aunt Barbara and the family, and know he will be sorely missed.
Donnie will surely be missed. It was a joy to be in his presence because of his sense of humor and magnetic personality. He was also highly skilled in both art and music. My deepest sympathy to his wife, Barbara, my good friend for many years, and to his children and grandchildren.
