Eric Lee Johnson, 27 of Gum Spring, Virginia passed away on Saturday, May23, 2015 at VCU Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mee Maw” Leonard his grandfather Henry L. “Pa Pa” JohnsonHe is survived by his wife Krystina Mircia Johnson his children Carl Glenn McElroy III Zachary Chase Johnson and Zoey Harper Johnson all of Gum Spring; his parents Henry “Sonny” and Elizabeth Johnson his brother Michael Johnson all of Beaverdam; his grandmother Suzanne Bradford Johnson of Mineral VA his mother-in-law Linda Blevins of Richmond; his brother-in-law Rex Blevins his sister-in-law his sister-in-law Bille Blevins his nieces and nephews; Rex Jr. Josiah Ethan Wesley Jordan and Anna all of Port Royal and many aunts May 29 2015 at Western Hanover Church 16050 Mountain Road Montpelier VA; officiated by Terry Sharpe and Lawrence Reed. This is unreal to me… I never thought this day would come to say goodbye, no see you again, to a dear friend.. Eric, you will be forever loved and missed!! May God hold you tight until we see you again!! Love you and miss you!!
I am so sorry… I know Eric was a man who loved life, loved being with family-n-friends, loved his kids, and was totally in-love with Krystina. He will be missed beyond words. My thoughts and prayers to his entire family… and especially his immediate family. My heart and prayers go out to his parents, grandparents, brother and extended family. And to Krystina and the children… my love and continued prayers to you…. May God bless you and hold you, until the day when you are able to see each other again.

I find it hard to believe that your precious Eric is gone. But now he is pain free and is heaven with all the other Angles that God has called home. Beth and Sonny I can only imagine your loss of your oldest son. My love and prayers to both of you and to Michael. Just believe God has a plan and now Eric is free of pain and suffering. Eric was so loving even as a little boy. His spirit will live on in his 2 children that he loved so much. I love you .

Sonny, Beth and Michael, I am so sorry for the loss of Eric. He was very special to everyone that he met and he will be truly missed. I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be of great comfort. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts comfort your family also.
