Rebecca Winter Bryant Shanks, 35, of Goochland, Virginia went to be with the Lord Friday, February 13, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.She was the beloved wife of Ralph Cleve” Shanks and loving mother of daughter Cherokee and sons Chipper and Dillon. Rebecca is also survived by her parents David and Pamm Bryant brother Davey Bryant grandfather “Papa” Bill Holland and several aunts uncles cousins and other relatives and friends.She was born May 28 1979 and was a member of Fife Co. 4 Fire-Rescue for 18 years. She was employed by Martin Marietta.A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday February 21st at Mizpah Christian Church 5257 Old Columbia Rd. Goochland VA 23063.In lieu of flowers please make donations to Fife Co 4 Fire & Rescue or Mizpah Christian Church

Becca will be greatly missed by many ,she had become more of a sister to me and I will always remember her smile and all of her jokes and her love she had for her family. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
