Betty Hughes Betty Lou” Sharpe 75 of Mineral passed away Friday Feb. 5 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Earl F. Sharpe she was a devoted and loving mom and grandmother she is survived by her son: Franklin Wayne Sharpe and his loving girlfriend Chesney and her daughter: Alice S. Bolenske his three grandsons: Kyle Ryan and Jacob Bolenske three sisters Vernelle Payne Marvin Margaret Payne Charles Mary Ruth Davidson three sister in laws Doris Hughes Doris Hicks and Clara Gottsch several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday in Forest Grove Christian Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Foundation.

I am so sorry for your loss, Wayne and Alice. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mama is one of the sweetest women I know. I was so thankful Alice when I was the new girl in middle school and you were the first person to say hi to me. We were friends ever since. Call me anytime dear friend. I Love You!
Wayne and Alice, I knew your mother from when I used to come to the cabin in Mineral with my Aunt Polly LeviBlew when I was young. We lived in Berryville. My name then was Linda Wynkoop. I stayed in touch with Betty from time to time over the years. I am sending you my sincere sympathy in reading of her passing. I know you will miss her.
