Richard Wilson Bower, 92, of Marshall died Saturday, May 23, 2009. Richard is survived by stepchildren, step-grandchildren, step great-grandson, one niece, and one nephew. He was an Army Veteran. Richard retired from the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. He was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church in The Plains. He had many talents: painting, woodworking, gardening, just to name a few. He loved the Lord and will dwell with Him forever. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28th at St. Marks Methodist Church in The Plains, VA. Burial will follow in Warrenton Cemetery.
