Betty Amos Apperson Dunivan, 85 passed away peacefully May 1, 2021. She was born August 12, 1935 in Louisa County to Aubrey and Mae Amos. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny Apperson and James Dunivan; brother Henry Amos; sister Lillian Armstrong; and daughter Elaine Gammon.
She is survived by her sisters, Bernice Boswell and Hilda Harper; her children Teresa Hughes (Sammy), Cindy Pritchett (Hoy) and Lisa Greene (Robbie); a special son in law Ned Gammon; ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday May 5, 2021 at 11am at Hillcrest Cemetery with pastor Dennis Barton officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Oakland Baptist Church 2800 Oakland Church Rd, Gum Spring VA, 23065.
