Mary Creath Britton

March 4, 1936- May 7, 2021

Mary Creath Britton, 85, of Goochland passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at St, Mary’s Hospital Richmond, VA

She was a member of Holly Grove Christian Church, a long-time member of the Goochland Fire Department Company Five Auxiliary, retired from VDOT, loved working with her flowers and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ruth Creath; and daughter Patsy Garnett.

Mary is survived by her sons, Bob Allen (Jennie), and Jim Britton (Shelby); one daughter Judy Reid (Roy); three grandchildren, Leslie Shaufelderger, Rob Allen, and Jesse Reid; five great-grandchildren; her companion Dolly Anne; and special friend Chuck Hughes.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at Holly Grove Christian Church Cemetery, Bumpass, VA with Pastor Bob Lane officiating. We will be following COVID-19 guidelines
