Jill Estelle Snead
December 18, 1969 – January 15, 2026
Jill Estelle Snead, 56 of Holly Grove, received her heavenly wings on January 15, 2026.
Jill was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose gentle spirit and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Snead. Her mother, Brenda Snead, passed shortly after Jill and now they are reunited in eternal peace.
Jill is survived by her brothers, Jason and John Snead, who cherished her deeply; as well as her aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who held a special place in her heart. Jill was also dearly loved by many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness and steady presence. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her and knew her.
Jill had a deep and sincere love for and calling to take care of children. She was a Louisa Youth Football Cheerleading coach, and a preschool teacher, but most of all a dedicated nanny to numerous children from many families. She dearly loved each and every one of them and took much pride in their accomplishments.
A woman of faith and conviction, Jill graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Religious Studies. Her faith was not only something she studied, but something she lived, maintaining her devotion and trust in God throughout her life and until the very end. Though her life was far too short, her impact was deep and enduring.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jill’s former employer and dear friends, the Pruitt family, for their kindness, support, and care.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Association.
