Barbara Joan Mehall

January 30, 1949 – March 11, 2024

Barbara Joan Mehall, 75, of Mineral, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024. She was a faithful member of Mt. Victory Baptist Church, where she proudly ran the church cleaning crew. In her prior church, she was also a Sunday School teacher and Awana volunteer. During her career, she was a dedicated Respiratory Therapist. With a master’s degree in Horticulture, she was an exceptional green thumb and loved spending time gardening. She was an avid cat lover, opening her home and heart to cats in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Hilda Mehall; and sister, Patricia Fulton. She is survived by her sisters, Susan (Kevin) Lloyd and Carol (Jerome) Wick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Mt. Victory Baptist Church, 12680 Broad St Rd, Henrico, VA 23233. Interment will follow the service at Spring Grove Cemetery, 2779 Pendleton Road, Mineral, VA 23117. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Victory Baptist Church.
