Im so sorry to hear of your passing. Thank you so much for taking care of my grandad and being a great family member and friend to him. You were always so kind and I hope you are dancing in heaven with the angels welcoming you with your husband and son running to greet you!
To my wonderful stepmother, you came into my life 62 years ago, when I was a twelve year old girl, when you married my father Dowl Harris. We have stayed close over the years and I will miss you so much. My two sisters and I were always touched when you would introduce us as your daughters. You were truly a gracious beautiful person. Bless you!
You became my stepmother when I was about 15 years old. Marc was just a little boy about three or four and Brenda was my age so I basically grew up with them. You were kind to me and my two sisters and treated us as if we were your real daughters. We spent holidays with you and our dad, and we did so many things with you through the years. We are going to miss the closeness we had with you now that you are gone and in Heaven, but we’ll see you again someday.
Doris, you were always the kindest stepmother to me and a really good friend after you married my father Dowl Harris over 60 years ago. I have always felt honored to have you in my life. I am going to miss you so much but I take comfort in knowing you’re in heaven with Jesus and your loved ones who have gone before you,
Doris, I have always thought of you as family and a good friend. I am going to miss telling you to “put your dancing shoes on and let’s go”. I know you are at peace and with our Lord.
