Martin, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Wiltshire, 100 years old of Gum Spring, Virginia died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 27, 2014 surrounded by her family.She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kermit Martin, son-in-law, Mitchell Armentrout and grandson, Justin Burkett. She is survived by daughters; Rebecca Armentrout, Judy Guild (Dave), Estelle Pruden (Eston) and Faye Burkett (Dolphus). She is also survived by grandchildren; Delores Hawk, (Dale),Michelle Armentrout, Amy Culley (Andrew), Russ Pruden, Heather Vazquez, Kenny Pruden (Wendy), Timmy Burkett ( Meaghan), Shane Guild (Jennifer), Jessica Slusher (Jason), 13 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Brooks and numerous nieces and nephews The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Tuesday, April 29th at Gum Spring United Methodist Church, 191 Cross County Road, Gum Spring, VA 23065; where funeral services will be conducted 11am on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, immediately followed by graveside services.Her life was devoted to her Lord, her family and her church family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gum Spring United Methodist Church, Building Fund.

One of my memories of Gum Spring Church was Lizzie. Sorry to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful Christian lady.
