Floyd Milton Nicholas, 65, of Bumpass, VA, left us to be the lord on Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, his father, Floyd (Cake) Nicholas and his brother, Warren Noel. He was a hard-working and devoted loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by, his wife of 45 years, Sue W. Nicholas, three sons, Kenny, Kevin (Lesley) and Brian (Chrissy), four grandchildren, Kourtney, Emily, Kailey and Grayson Nicholas, two brothers, Billy (Madeline) and Raymond (Virginia) and many nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends and family from 5-8pm on Wednesday, February 22nd at Lacy Funeral Home, 6241 Cross County Rd. Mineral, VA. Funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, February 23rd at Hopeful Baptist Church, 14340 Hopeful Church Rd. Montpelier, VA.
Burial will follow in church cemetery.

It was a pleasure to have cared for this man and his family. Rest in peace Mr.Nicholas. I know you were a blessing to your family and they will miss you every day.

No words can tell you how sorry Glen and I are for the loss of Milton. We will cherish the many memories of making ice cream, cook outs and trips to Charles Town to name a few. He is at peace now and out of pain and I pray that provides all of you some comfort. We love you all!
