Gladys Jean Glass
January 1, 1937 – August 23, 2022
Gladys Glass 85, of Bumpass Va went peacefully to be with the lord surrounded by her family on August 23, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents Thurston and Estelle Spain, her son Wayne Glass, her loving husband of 70 years Charles Franklin Glass Jr. and her daughter Barbara Hix.
She is survived by her Children; Marilyn Dawson (Lewis), James Glass, Amy Breeden (John), her grandchildren; Lisa Hix Bowling, (Wayne), Sherri Miller, Rennis (Bobie) Ray Miller Jr., Mathew Hix (Tammy) Angela Solomon, Lori Davis (Corey), Kendal Harcum (Brandon) And Raegan Breeden. 11 great grandchildren as well as one great great grandchild.
Gladys was always a home maker, provided love and care to all the children throughout her family. Her smile lit up any room. Gladys was a shoulder to lean on to everyone she knew. She will always be the biggest blessing and hero to her grandchildren and family. Gladys will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
My beautiful Grandma 🤍 You certainly was a one of a kind Woman. Your love was endless for your family. Your strength and dedication could never be matched by anyone. I want you to know you were always my Hero. I always said you had golden wings on Earth. I know you have them in Heaven along with a crown of rubies and diamonds. You deserve them without a doubt. My heart aches knowing I will never see you again. My soul knows you will always be with me until we meet again. I LOVE YOU 🤍 Tell Mama , Daddy , Papa and Wayne I love and miss them , too. I know they were all happy to see you.
