Jennings, Helen Hart, age 55, of Mineral, VA; passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She is survived by her husband Brian Hutson Jennings, step-son, Graham, daughter, Sonia Rae, mother, Barbara U. Hart, mother-in-law, Mrs. Roy Jennings, brother-in-law, Brad Jennings, aunt, Janet U. Phyfe, surname of cousins, Bethony, Delaney, Hart, Lancaster, Phyfe. Helen attended JMU, VCU and retired from the Goochland County Clerk’s Office.The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Sunday, January 26th at Lacy Funeral Home, Rt. 522, Mineral, Va. Graveside funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, January 27, 2014 in the Hart Family Cemetery, Mineral, VA.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Young Life Louisa, P.O. Box 1990 Louisa, VA 23093.

I am so very sorry she is gone from the earth, but she is at peace now. I have the fondest memories of our chats over the past 20+ years.
Aunt Barbara, Brian, Sonia – Thank you for all of the love you gave Helen, shared with Helen and showered on her – she blossomed with humor, acceptance, and radiated love. To the whole family, Helen was a part of my life many years ago, as a coworker and a good friend. She had a heart of gold, a caring personality, and a love of life. Helen friendship goes back to 1st grade. at Apple Grove Elementary. She always meet you with a great smile and a wonderful heart. She was a good friend and will be missed but not forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go to the family.
Helen was one of the first classmates I met when my family moved to Louisa County in 1971. She was unfailingly friendly and kind, interested in everything and active in school, community and church. What a great loss to her family and friends to have her leave us this early. Sincerest sympathy to all who loved and admired her.
