James Elvin Butler, Sr., 67, of Bumpass, Virginia died Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He is survived by his son, James Butler, Jr.; his daughter, Brandy Butler; a close friend, Margaret Butler; his brothers, Ivor Butler and his wife, Mary, Phil Butler and his wife Barbra, and Wayne Butler and his wife, Fran; his grandchildren, Cheyann Butler and Jordan Foster; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special nephew, Butch Butler. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at Lacy Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1 in the Butler Family Cemetery.
We were hoping to see the family tonight, however, Jack has been ill today and cannot make it. Our sympathy and condolences to the entire family. Jimmy is resting now and not in any pain. May God bless you all.
