John B. Shelton born in Louisa County on September 11, 1930 to the late Claude and Johnette Shelton; passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a life time cattle farmer in Louisa; where he loved raising cattle, pigs and all of his animals.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Shelton.The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Oakland Baptist Church, Gum Spring, VA; where a funeral will be held at 11am on Friday, August 8, 2014 with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

John was also survived by his only sister Nancy S. Lotts and his only grand niece Kimberly Newman.
Thanks uncle Jack for showing me tractors and pigs.
