Juanita Gonzalez Wilson, 86 of Bumpass, Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013.She is survived by her husband, Billy James Wilson; three sons, Ben T. Wilson, Frank D. Wilson, and Dr. James C. Wilson; two daughters, Katherine W. Thomas and Wendy Wilson McCord; seventeen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 10th at Lacy Funeral Home Mineral, VA where a Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Stacy Crim at 7pm. A private interment will be held in Quantico National Cemetery.
BJ and children we were so sorry to hear of your beloved Juanita passing. We know your heart is heavy at this time. She was a beautiful woman one could only try to live up to. I will remember her smile she tought me in Bible class many times and I learned many good lessons from her. We love you all and are praying for you all. Love Ed and Angela Myers and children
My heart is truly aching for the loss of my wonderful friend. I will always cherish the memory of her laughter, and love. What an amazing gift from God she was to all of us! BJ you are in my thoughts and prayers.
We are truly blessed to have known Juanita. She brought joy every where she went. Her love and concern for us and for others always was so sincere and true. I will miss her calls updating us and checking on us. She always made me know she loved my family and thought of us. The goodness you both generated because your love of God has lent its stability of righteousness to us. God has been glorified. So, we thank God for you both. Our hearts are sadden by the passing of Sister Wilson. We have fond memories of her. She was a very kind lady and always had a smile and a hug for you. Oh, what a precious woman! I met her at singing school in Wilburton, OK in 1988 & have loved and enjoyed her for many years. She blessed and enriched the lives of all who knew her. B.J., my heart grieves for your tremendous loss. May God be with you in the days and months ahead and may he keep you in his care until your life in this tent is ended and you can both be forever with the Lord. I am so thankful to have known both of you. Not many people make such an impression on our lives, but Juanita certainly did. My love and prayers for you and the family, B.J.
Juanita was such an encouragement to me. I stayed in their home while in a meeting at West End in 2001. A wonderful week of memories! I saw them several times since and always enjoyed those times. My life is better because of the association with these Christians. B.J. and Juanita are the real deal when it comes to faith. What a blessing she was!
