Linda Carol Rhoten of Mineral, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was predeceased by her mother, Wilma Helen Seifert, her father, Garland Fletcher Dunn and her stepmother Dorothy “Dot” Dunn.She is survived by three sons, Charles Garnett Cocke, Kenneth Maurice Cocke and Jason Edward Rhoten; four grandchildren, Taylor Ballard, Brittany and Grayson Cocke and the light of her life, Skyler Rhoten whom she raised from birth.She is also survived by three brothers, Scott, Tommy and John Dunn, four sisters, Marie Proctor, Cathy Buttner, Betsy Fink and Julee Christy and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.Linda loved to garden and was a wonderful cook. Her chocolate éclairs and pies were scrumptious.A Memorial Service will be held 11am on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Hopeful Baptist Church,14340 Hopeful Church Road, Montpelier, VA; officiated by Pastor Leroy Davis.
