Margaret Rigsby Ford, 97, of Mineral died Monday, January 26, 2015 at Envoy at the Meadows in Goochland.Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Esther Rigsby; four brothers, Vernon, George, Harry and Gene; first husband, Jack Henderson; second husband, Aubrey Ford; and son-in-law, Fred Richardson.Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Pam Richardson; two step sons, James and Billy Ford (Donna); seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, January 28 at Lacy Funeral Home in Mineral.A service will be held at 2pm Thursday, January 29 at Gum Spring United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gum Spring United Methodist Church, 191 Cross County Rd., Gum Spring, VA 23065.

May you find comfort knowing that your mom is not suffering and is at peace. She was such a sweet gentle person. I have fond memories of her as I was growing up in the community. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers as you deal with this difficult time.
