Richard Willard Cox, 87, of Louisa County, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 15, 2018. Born in Albemarle County, to the late James Henry F.L. and Ollie May V. Thomas Cox. He was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, James, William, Russel, Linwood and Clarence Cox. He is survived by his wife Angie Pritchett Cox; two daughters, Angie Thurber (Paul) and Eva Mallory (Steve); three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, October 18 at Lacy Funeral Home, Rte. 522, Mineral. A graveside funeral service will be held 12 noon on Friday, October 19 in Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa.
