Robert L. Troxell, Jr., loving son, brother, and father, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011. He is survived by his long time companion, Hope Goza; his three daughters, Jenna, Elise and Emily; his mother, Jo Troxell; five sisters, Marion McCartney, Darlene Kurlish, Edith White, Eleanor Cooper, and Margaret Rivera; several brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a longtime resident of Willingboro, New Jersey and spent the last twenty years as a resident of Gum Spring, Virginia. A memorial service will be held at Lacy Funeral Home in Mineral, Virginia on Friday, June 3 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations for the family would be appreciated.

Im going to miss bobby immensely,His stories about the life up north partying in the pines with crazy mike and the lunar patrol helmet and cup were something else,I thought that camping with his new love at the time kitty on the shenandoah parkway in the rainyhurricane season was somewhat intimidating at the time, especially when they had just moved into a new apartment. He took getting used to but after you knew what to expect from Bob, You had a friend that you could depend on for a lifetime.Thanks for letting me get close to you and the help that you have given me during the past year here at the farm.
