Robert Woodrow Cutchin, 72, died Saturday. June 24, 2017 at his home in Gum Spring and is now at eternal rest with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his dear son, Kevin and his mother, Evelyn.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing a devoted wife of 49 years, Deborah Oliver Cutchin and her sister Pamela Oliver Branham (Joey). Also Mr. Cutchin’s sister, Kathy Cutchin Pittman (Jeff) of Atlanta, his brother, James Cutchin (Gay) of Petersburg; several nephews and his dear longtime friends, J. T. Miller (Judy) of Mechanicsville and J. C. Gallagher of Gum Spring.
As a loving member of Oakland Baptist Church, he experienced the blessing of being a part of that Christian family. A graveside service will be held 11 am on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the church cemetery,
2965 Oakland Church Road, Gum Spring, VA 23065.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holly Grove Fire and Rescue Squad, 155 Factory Mill Rd., Bumpass, VA 23024

Robert was a great coworker and friend. His company always brightened our days and his absence now saddens them. The Cutchin Family will stay in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Our deepest sympathies.
